What is this?
We are a group practicing the ancient art of English change ringing. Change ringing is a 400-year-old style of bell ringing involving ringing patterns instead of traditional music (Learn more). It is primarily practiced in bell towers in the U.K. and former British colonies (including the U.S.), but it is also done on handbells. We ring primarily on handbells in central Florida, but also at a tower in south Florida, in Miami.
Looking for ringers!
The practice schedule varies depending on availability, but generally they occur on Wednesday evenings and Sundays at various times. We usually meet in a rehearsal room at Theatre Winter Haven, at the corner of U.S. 17 and Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven, FL (map). Please email us if you are a visiting ringer who would like to arrange a quarter or just a ringing session.
